Seward County Commission Approves Facility Fee Waivers

The Seward County Commission met Monday evening and approved the waiver of fees for the Ag Building for Grace Place Pregnancy Care Center’s 4th Annual Fundraising Banquet (Dinner and Program) on September 17, 2024 and Grace Place’s Youth Rally (Program) on September 18, 2024. Both nights will be at the Ag Building Facility.

Also approved was the JCAPS Carryover Reimbursements budget for FY25. The Board heard updates from Kirkham Michael and on Tax Sale/ Tax Recovery. Bobby Wright provided the Commission with a General Road Report.

The Commission will hold a work session on Wednesday at 9:00 am to decide who will do the work on the Road “O” Project. The Road “O” Project includes rehabilitating approximately 3.8 miles of road and correcting the intersection entrances off of Hwy 54 and Bluebell Road as well as county road intersections. The County will use a new product called Perma Zyme to help harden the roadbed.
