The Seward County Commission met on Monday at 5:30 pm.
Commissioners received a presentation on the Base One product. Although Base One has already been approved, the company wanted to come and present their product to the Commission.
Greg Standard, the Emergency Management Director, presented the Commission with a training session that will explain the NIMS/ICS system and the role of elected Officials and Agency leaders during Emergency situations. This course is designed to prepare leaders to function during small and large incidents.
The training is set for May 20th from noon until 4:30 at the Seward County Event Center. He encouraged elected personnel to attend.
Commissioners approved Resolution 2025-08, appointing Angela Eichman as the County Appraiser for a term beginning July 1, 2025, and expiring on June 30, 2029 and also approved Change Order 2402805 for the Seward County HMA Overlay.
