The Seward County Board of County Commissioners accepted the best bid and approved bond Resolution 2025-07 with a financial impact of $6.105 million for the Road and Bridge project and issuance cost.
The Commission approved the Central Power Service Agreement for the 11 generators for Seward County at a cost of $10,250.00, and approved the one-time fee of $9,250.00 and the $1,500.00 to enhance the current Star Program to be more user-friendly and encompass all the needs of Road and Bridge.
Commissioners approved the Change Order request submitted by OC Quality Custom Homes for the Courthouse remodel project in an amount of $77,900.00. Fixed assets were also approved by the Commissioners.
In an added item, the Commission waived the fees of the Activity Center for Southwest Miracles Annual Shindig.
