The #4 class 3A Lakin Broncos unloaded on the Liberal Redskins in the second half.  After a highly competitive first half which saw the Skins take a lead, the Broncos out scored LHS 47-23 in the second half.  Lakin won 77-46 in the first matchup between the two school since the 2004-05 season at the Scott City tournament.

Lakin led 15-9 after one quarter.  The Redskins took a 21-20 lead with 2:43 to play in the half.  But Lakin finished the half on a 10-2 run to lead 30-23 at the half.  Lakin took a 55-38 lead after three.  Lakin out paced LHS 22-8 in the fourth quarter.

James Fieser scored 18 in the loss.  Adrian Moreno-Gonzalez scored all 11 of his points in the first half.  He rained in three 3 pointers.  Eathan Hernandez scored eight.

Lakin is 14-1.  Liberal drops their fifth straight and falls to 3-14 overall.  Liberal plays at Hays Friday night at 7:45 on 1270 and 92.3.
