SCCC to hold benefit cookout at Bee Jays game Wednesday

LIBERAL, Kan. – Seward County Community College will hold a benefit cookout for Jacob Still’s family on Wednesday, July 17 at Brent Gould Field when the Liberal Bee Jays host the Hays Larks. The event was previously scheduled for last month, but postponed due to weather.

College employees will be cooking and serving hamburgers and hotdogs before the game, beginning at 6 p.m. Fans can contribute through a free-will donation. There will also be a raffle for a meat bundle. All proceeds will go to Still’s family.

Still, a Seward County Community College employee, passed away after suffering injuries in an accident on Wednesday, May 28.

SCCC would like to thank the Liberal Bee Jays for their participation in the event.
