LIBERAL, Kan. – The Seward County Community College Humanities Department presents its spring musical Godspell, beginning Thursday, April 10 through Saturday, April 12 at the Clifford and Irene Pepper Showcase Theater on the SCCC campus. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $10.
Godspell, originally created by Stephen Schwartz and John-Michael Tebelak, is a musical that brings the teachings of Jesus Christ to life in a vibrant, contemporary setting. The show features a series of parables from the Gospel of Matthew, brought to life through catchy songs, humor, and dynamic performances. With classics like “Day by Day” and “Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord,” the musical offers a joyful and uplifting celebration of faith, compassion, and human connection.
SCCC invites community members, students, and theater lovers to join in celebrating this classic musical with its captivating score and timeless themes of love, unity, and faith, promising to be an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.
