Liberal junior golfer Sarah Bayouth is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Bayouth led Liberal with a 49 for eighth place at Liberal’s season opening tournament at Hays on Monday. Bayouth also plays softball in the spring for Liberal High. Bayouth’s best score was a 46 at Willow Tree last season. Liberal competes at Dodge City on Thursday, Sept. 10.
