At one point Tuesday, the Butler Grizzlies were packing their bags and getting ready to head back to El Dorado after a forfeit. The NJCAA office informed Butler that players who left the bench during a shoving match between a Saint and a Grizzly at second base during game one on Monday. Then KJCCC Commisioner Bryce Roderick called and said only the two players in the altercation would be suspended. So to make a long story short, the Saints and Grizzlies played their two games afterall and Seward won 10-2 and 12-2 to win the series 3-1. The Saints are 9-11 overall and 3-1 in the Jayhawk West while Butler falls to 4-6 overall and 1-3 in the Jayhawk West.
