Liberal, Kansas – Seward County Men’s Soccer Head Coach Jaime Beltran has announced his 2024 schedule that will put the Saints against three teams that were ranked in the Top 25 polls in the NJCAA to conclude the previous season.
Seward County will start the 2024 campaign with a similar start to a year ago with their first three games taking place in Liberal on Redskin Field as the Saints face Laramie County to open the season on August 25th before taking on Kansas City Kansas three days later for their first KJCCC matchup of the season to end August. Their third straight game at home will take place on September 1st against Lamar in nonconference action and will then head out on the road for a three-game road trip against Cowley, Garden City, and Kansas Wesleyan before returning home for one game at Redskin Field against Dodge City on September 14th. The Saints will wrap up September with another trip as they head out for four straight road games when they face Coffeyville, Barton, Kansas City Kansas, and Metropolitan.
The final month of the regular season will also begin with a matchup against Lamar but with this game taking place on the road. Seward County will then take on Cowley and Garden City at home on October 5th and October 9th on Redskin Field and will then wrap up nonconference action against Tyler who finished as the sixth ranked team in the NJCAA rankings a season ago before facing Dodge City in their final road game of the regular season. The Saints’ final two games of the regular season will take place in front of their home crowd on Redskin Field against Coffeyville on October 23rd and wrap things up against Barton on the 26th ahead of the Region VI Tournament which will have the first-round matchups face off on November 2nd.
