The Seward County men’s basketball team signed four players to national letters of intent this spring and summer. The Saints signed Adonte McCarter, a combo guard from Greenville, North Carolina. He was high school teamates with current guard Tony Smith and played this year at Pitt Community College in Greenville. In state, head coach Bryan Zollinger and assistant Ryan Stock signed three. They inked Newton’s 6’2″ Isiah Thaw, Liberal’s 6’1″ Kevin Livingston, and 6’1″ Topeka Highland Park’s Spencer Moore. Liberal’s Chris Chaney will also join the team after transferring from Garden City. This group will join Robert Sigala, Marquez Patterson, Marcus James, Tony Smith, Jon Tassin, and Latig Agard. The Saints were 23-9 last year and went 9-7 in the Jayhawk West.
