Saints Roll Over JV Team in Garden City

Missouri-West Plains backed out of Garden City’s Thanksgiving Classic. GCCC found Western Iowa Tech’s JV team to replace them. The team was behind schedule in making the long trip from Sioux City, Iowa so the game didn’t begin until 5 Friday in the Perryman Center rather than 3. Seward won 107-64 in a game they led 48-23 at the half. Seward shot 49 percent and forced 33 turnovers. Niem Stevenson scored 23 while Marcus Mathieu scored 19 and Charles Beauregard scored 17 with seven rebounds. James Byrd scored 12. Seward is 9-1 and faces Western Iowa Tech at 3 in Garden City on B107.5 and kscbnews.net.
