The Seward County Saints have won four straight. The Saints traveled to Lamar to grab a 19-9 mid week win over the Antelopes Tuesday afternoon. The Saints scored early and often with two in the first, six in the second, eight in the third, and three in the fourth. Lamar scored to in the first and one in the second and trailed 19-3 after four until the Lopes scored five in the fifth and one in the sixth. Cameron Cartwright was 4-6 with two home runs and five RBI’s. Elijah Bear was 3-4 with a home run and five RBI’s. Connor Cox, Ranse Radtke, Mason Hagel-Pitt, and Tristan Curless added two hits a piece. Bo Jacob Garza went four strong innings for the win. He struck out three and did not issue a walk. Ryumga Matsumara went two innings allowing one run. The Saints out hit Lamar 16-9. Lamar had three errors and SCCC had one. Lamar is 8-29 and has lost 10 straight. Seward is 16-18 and plays at Garden City Thursday at 1pm with Saints Dugout Show at 12:45 on 1270 and 92.3. Game two will be internet only.
