Saints Clobber Clarendon

One year after a 120-113 win over high scoring Clarendon, the Saints put the clamps down. Seward’s defense held the Bulldogs (5-3) in check in a 93-61 Seward win Saturday night in the Green House. The Saints sizzled the nets at 57 percent shooting holding Clarendon to 28 percent shooting. The Saints led 49-31 at halftime. Seward is 6-0.

Irvin Hollinger scored 24 while Kaheem Ranson scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Trey Starks scored 11 points with six rebounds. Brice Jenkins added 10 points and six rebounds.

The Saints played without Deverell Biggs this weekend due to an ankle injury.

Pratt won the afternoon game of the Billy’s/Days Inn Classic 63-61 over Redlands.

The Saints play at Odessa Friday and Saturday against New Mexico Junior College and the host Odessa Wranglers.
