Saints Bury Barton

The Seward County Saints beat the Barton Cougars Monday night in the Green House, the game was never close.  The Saints took the game 81-52 for a season split with the Cougars.

Seward led 9-0 16-2, 26-5, 41-9, and led 41-10 at halftime.  The Saints led by as many as 39 on the way to the win.

Seward shot 49 percent and held Barton to 33 percent shooting and forced Barton into 22 turnovers.

Taye Donald had 17 points and 10 rebounds.  Harvin Ibarquen had 16.  Jaylin Henderson scored 14.  Bee McCray had 10 points and six rebounds.

Seward is 11-17 overall and 8-14 in the KJCCC.  They went their second in a row for the first time since mid December.  Barton falls to 15-12 and 9-12 in the Jayhawk.  Seward plays at Hutchinson Wednesday night at about 7:30 on 107.5 and the KSCB and The Legend App.
