LIBERAL, Kan. – Seward County Community College announces the start of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for the 2021-22 academic year. The SAAC program at Seward County will be for student-athletes to come together to enhance the student-athlete experience, promote opportunities, and create positive dialog throughout campus. All of the athletic programs at Seward County will be represented on the committee to provide dialog across programs within the department. This will allow for conversations and open dialog in regards to campus-wide situations and within the community of our student-athletes.

The committee will be a part of conversations with campus and community involvement, help organize athletic events, and provide feedback on their experiences. SAAC will be comprised of 16 student-athletes with two representatives from each program to be one sophomore and one freshman.

SAAC will have its inaugural meeting on Monday, August 23rd and we will be announcing the members as the fall semester begins.

For any questions or concerns feel free to contact the Saints Athletic Department at (620)417-1550.
