Ruffino’s Presents Check To United Way

Chris Carlile, owner of Ruffino ??s Italian Restaurant, presented a $650 check to Michele Gillespie, 2011 Seward County United Way Campaign Chair. The check was the proceeds from the Eat Out for United Way event on Oct. 29 at the restaurant. ??We really appreciate the hard work the owners and the staff at the restaurant put into this event, ? said Gillespie. ??We had a great turnout that night from supporters eating at the restaurant and this year ??s check was almost $250 more than the previous year. ? The Seward County United Way Campaign goal is $320,000 this year and will support 28 local non-profit agencies providing services in Seward County.
