Construction crews with the Kansas Department of Transportation have closed Road P, east of Liberal today from U.S. 54 south to County Road 8 and there will be no marked detour. The work, which will last approximately two weeks, is being done by Michels Corporation of Brownsville, Wis., and is part of the U.S. 54 reconstruction.
