Cameron Riley wins the Liberal Regional Golf Tournament with a 67, shooting under par on both the front and back nines of the course, 34 and 33 respectively. This is Riley’s best score in high school tournament play and secures his spot at his fourth and final state golf tournament to be held at Dub’s Dread Golf Club in Kansas City one week from today. The other Liberal golfers struggled on a few holes, which hurt on a day when the weather and the course conditions meant good scores. The tournament was won on the team side by Bishop Carroll of Wichita. Also qualifying for state as a team were Maize South and Goddard-Eisenhower. Liberal placed 5th as a team.
