Redskins Win Soccer Opener in Great Bend

Liberal cruised to a 5-2 win in their soccer opener Thursday evening in Great Bend.  Mike Fonseca had a hat trick scoring three goals.  Ulysse Gutierrez dished an assist on the first goal and Bryan Alvarez assisted the other two goals.  Jovanni Ortiz scored an unassisted goal and Alvarez found the back of the net on a PK.  Liberal plays Kapaun Monday in the first round of the Wichita South Titan Classic.
