Redskins Win North Cup Opener

Liberal has strung together two straight soccer wins. Liberal opened the Wichita North Cup with a 1-0 win over the Wichita Heights Falcons Monday at the North Cup. After the 6-5 win over Hays last Thursday, that makes two in a row for LHS. Mike Fonseca scored the goal and was assisted by Elmer Rivera. Liberal plays the Wichita East Aces Wednesday at 3:15 in the Wichita North Cup.
