Redskins Run at Hesston

Redskins competed at the Hesston invitational today for the individual grade races where freshman competed against freshman and all the way up to seniors. There were a total of 8 races in all for the boys and girls. Leading the way for the Boys was Alex Koerner at 13:01 placing 2nd in the junior division and Samuel Morales at 13:23 placing 3rd in the senior division.

 

On the girls side Janaya Devorce lead the girls with a time of 15:19 to place 2nd on the girls side in the junior division and right behind her was Jenny Casas at 15:24 placing 4th in the senior division.

 

Because of the heat the course was cut down to a 2mile course instead of a 5K. The girls and boys would finish 3rd as a team in the 4-6A classes as a whole. Up next Saturday the XC team will be at Hugoton.
