Redskins Pour it on in Opener

Liberal was really good without Eduardo Moreno last year. With the senior forward, the Skins could be really special again this season. Moreno, who trained with Sporting Kansas City this summer scored six goals while first team all stater Isai Gutierrez found the back of the net twice as Great Bend wilted in the heat and wind in an 8-3 blowout for Liberal. Gutierrez dished four assists while Moreno, Christian Espinoza, and Juan Granados added assists. Liberal plays at the Wichita South Titan Classic Monday at 1 p.m. against Wichita Trinity.
