Redskins Move into 2nd in the WAC with Win Over Hays

The Liberal Redskins are the second place team in the WAC right now.  That’s after a 1-0 win over the visiting Hays Indians Thursday night at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.  Jayden Gonzalez bent a left footed free kick from the right side to the upper right portion of the goal with 6:16 remaining in the game.  The Redskins are 7-1-1 overall and 2-1-1 in the WAC.  Hays is 4-5 and 2-2 in the WAC.  Liberal hosts Garden City Tuesday night at 6:30.  Community Bank bought out the game so admission is free.
