Redskins Clamp Down on Bluejays
Brock Kappelmann - February 14, 2018 7:21 am
Liberal only shot 37 percent but fortunately for them, they held Cimarron to 37 percent shooting as well. That defense helped the Redskins to their seventh win 44-39 at Cimarron Tuesday night.
The Redskins misfired throughout the night making just 1-13 three pointers. But they only committed nine turnovers. Kace Vongsakda scored 16 and Lee Hatcher had 12. Cameron Riley had eight. Ethan Hatcher and Syris Dunlap had great defensive games defending K-State football signee Jaylen Pickle.
The Redskins have won all five games against Cimarron since they began the home and home series in 2014. Liberal is 7-10 and Cimarron is 9-9. The Redskins play at Great Bend on Saturday night at about 7:45 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
