Redskins Blank Garden City

The Liberal Redskins blanked the Garden City Buffaloes 2-0 Tuesday night at Redskin Field.  Suain Moncayo scored into the south net on a penalty kick with 25 minutes remaining in the first half.  Moncayo ties Eduardo Moreno with 58 career Redskin goals. Giezi Gonzalez scored on a PK at the 36:20 mark in the second half for the 2-0 lead.  Liberal has only allowed a 6A best four goals this season led by goal keeper Gael Ruvalcaba.  Garden City is 3-8-1 and 2-3-1 in the WAC.  Liberal is 8-1-1 overall and 3-1-1 in the WAC.  The Redskins play at Hesston Thursday.
