Redskin Volleyball Takes Third in WAC

Liberal’s volleyball team placed third of five at the Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament Saturday in Garden City.

LHS lost to Garden City 26-28, 21-25.  Aubrey Warden had seven kills while Machia Mullens added five.  Logan Dodge and Sarah Mein had nine assists a piece . Lizzy Cisneros and Bree Horyna had seven digs a piece.

Liberal beat Great Bend 25-17, 21-25, 25-16.  Warden had 10 kills and Horyna had seven.  Dodge had 17 assists.  Cisneros had 30 digs.

Liberal beat Dodge City 25-10, 25-18.  Mein had six kills and Warden had five.  Dodge had 12 assists.  Cisneros had 16 digs.

Liberal lost to Hays 25-17, 21-25, 16-25.  Warden had 10 kills and Horyna had 7.  Dodge had 17 assists and Cisneros had 16 digs.

Liberal is 15-20 and plays at sub state Saturday.
