The Liberal Redskins took two at class 3A Larned Friday 14-4 in five innings and 11-2. The Redskin pitching staff gave the team a much needed lift after allowing 28 runs the previous three games. In game one, Brandon Granger homered and pitched the Skins to the win. Kyle Potts pitched two innings for the save. While game one was lobsided, game two was a different story with the Skins and Indians tied at two until the fifth. Liberal scored nine runs the last three innings. Austin Pitts pitched the distance for the Redskins. Jose Pondo tripled in the win. Liberal is 3-3 and will host Scott City Tuesday at 4 PM.
