The Liberal Rattlers 18u team went 4-2 this weekend at Goddard. The Rattlers, coach by James Shelby, opened play Friday with an 11-5 win over the Kansas Velo. The Rattlers beat the Butler County Cubs 10-1. On Saturday, Liberal beat Canes Great Plains 6-4 before a loss to Williwaw Baseball 10-9. The Rattlers opened Sunday with a 9-6 win over the Dodge City Mayhem. They lost to 316 Diamond Kings 19-2. The Rattlers are 9-5-1.
The 14U Rattlers played in Omaha and went 5-1 in that tournament on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
