Rattlers Drop First Two in Canon City

After Canon City, Colorado came to Liberal’s tournament last week, Liberal is in Canon City this weekend.  Canon City took game one 5-2 and Cheyenne Mountain defeated the Rattlers 1-0 Thursday in Canon City.

In the Canon City game, the Rattlers were out-hit 9-3.  Woelfle had two of the hits.  Alex Yanez pitched four innings and Tucker Deaton went two innings.

Braxton Hyde went the distance in game two.  He pitched all seven innings allowing one run.  But the Rattlers again had just three hits.  Woelfle had two hits.

Liberal is 7-2 and continues play in Canon City Friday.
