Elkhart’s Kage Ralstin had a great regular season and career at Elkhart High School. The senior right hander was named the Hi Plains League Player of the Year and holds the single season and career marks for strike outs in Elkhart baseball history. But Thursday afternoon in Great Bend, Ralstin added another chapter. He threw a no hit shutout in a 2-0 Elkhart win over Kansas City Christian at 2-1A state in Great Bend. EHS scored single runs in the first and the third for the win. The Wildcats are 21-1 and play in the semifinals of state against 20-2 Marion Friday afternoon at 1:15.
