A Kansas Department of Transportation survey crew will begin a field survey the week of May 18 to gather information for a possible improvement on the current connector road from Kansas Avenue to US-83 on the north side of Liberal.
Survey activities will include the use of survey instruments on the ground to determine the locations of existing features. A member of the crew will contact property owners or tenants to get permission before entering private property.
The survey work should last about three weeks. KDOT asks drivers to be alert to the presence of the survey crew and drive cautiously. For questions or more information contact, Kirk Hutchinson at, 620-276-3241.
