Polls To Open In Texas County

Registered voters who want to vote absentee in the April 5, Regular General Municipal Elections for Goodwell, Guymon, Hooker, and Tyrone can still receive and cast a ballot by going to the County Election Board office on Monday, April 4, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, for the Regular Municipal General Elections for Goodwell, Guymon, Hooker, and Tyrone, and Kimberly Sloat, Secretary of the Texas County Election Board, offered voters some tips on how to make their votes count.

Voters whose names are not found in the Precinct Registry, or a voter who disagrees with the information shown in the Registry, may need to cast a provisional ballot. A provisional ballot is sealed in a special envelope and counted after election day if the voter’s information can be verified by the County Election Board.
Following is a list of the precinct polling places in Tuesday’s Regular Municipal General Election:

PRECINCT 104: Tyrone City Hall, 102 W. Main St., Tyrone
PRECINCT 201: First Assembly of God Church, 804 NE 12th St., Guymon
PRECINCT 202: Texas County Conservation District, 601 Se 5th St., Guymon
PRECINCT 205: Texas County Activity Center, 5th & Sunset Ln., Guymon
PRECINCT 304: Goodwell Community Center, 122 S. Main St., Goodwell
PRECINCT 305: Guymon City Hall, 219 NW 4th St., Guymon
