Plains Man Dies In Train/Implement Accident

A 26 year old Plains KS man, Seth Beaver, was killed in a Train/Implement accident shortly after noon on Thursday. The accident occurred on L Road at Highway 54 in Meade County at approximately 12:24 pm. Beaver was crossing the railroad tracks at L Road when his Swather was hit by a Union Pacific train being driven by Austin Jackson.

Beaver died at the scene. Jackson was not injured.
