Pierson Picks Arizona

The 6’3″ Amanda Pierson thought she knew who her leader would be in the recruiting process. When she made an official visit to Tuscon, she knew Arizona was the right fit. Pierson will join a program in need of help after a 12-19 season. The Belleville native helped lead Seward to a 28-6 season while averaging 12 points and six rebounds per game. Pierson blocked 82 shots which is sixth on Seward’s single season all time list. Her 136 blocked shots ranks fourth on Seward’s all time list. Pierson came from a Belleville program where they won state at 26-0 under current LHS head coach Shane Stout.
