Pedestrian Dies in Collision with Truck in Grant County

A Garden City man lost his life early Friday morning after being struck by a truck. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports 67 year old Joseph Humphreys of Garden City passed away this morning. The patrol says a truck was going north on K-25 three miles north of Ulysses at 1:56 Friday morning. Humphreys was laying in the east ditch of K-25. When the truck approached Humphreys, he leaped out from a prone position and was struck on the right side of the truck.
