Liberal, KS — [Oct. 21, 2024] — SWMC is excited to announce the launch of our Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC) this fall. This initiative aims to enhance the patient experience by integrating insights from community members, particularly focusing on communication about your health condition.

We are inviting individuals and families who have navigated the healthcare system to join us in this important work. The PFAC will serve as a vital platform for sharing perspectives, fostering collaboration, and improving the quality of care provided to our patients.

“The voices of patients and families are essential in shaping healthcare practices,” said Janeth Vazquez, Director of Marketing and Business Development. “We believe that working together can create a more responsive and effective healthcare environment.”

The PFAC will meet during the lunch hour to discuss and address various aspects of the medical diagnosis process, ensuring that our services reflect the needs and experiences of our community. The first meeting will take place on Thursday, November 21 at noon. Lunch will be provided for all participants.

How to Get Involved:

Interested community members are encouraged to apply by November 1st. To apply or for more information, please visit www.swmedcenter.com or contact Janeth Vazquez at 620-629-6335.
