BY PHILLIP LEE LIBERAL, Kan. — Seward County Community College invites the community to meet with three candidates for the newly-created position of Associate Vice President of Athletics next week on campus. The candidates for the position will visit the College next week, Monday July 8 through Wednesday, July 10. The interview process includes multiple meetings with campus groups as well as a tour and opportunities for candidates to get acquainted with Liberal and its residents. According to the Kansas Department of Transportation, traffic changes along U.S. 54 in Meade County will start July 15, three miles west of the west city limits of Meade. The traffic change is needed to allow bridge repair work to take place. Motorists should expect minimal delays, and a 12-foot width restriction will be in effect.
