On Saturday, April 25th, the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism (KDWPT) will host a free entrance day and open houses at all state parks. Visitors also will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of events at most parks. Meade State Park will be hosting a volunteer park cleanup, tours of the new Disc/Foot Golf course. The Friends of Meade State Park and Lake will be hosting an ice cream social during the afternoon. We will be selling permits, outdoor store items, taking reservations, and answering any questions. The park will have a drawing for various outdoor store items and free 1 night cabin stay. The office will be open from 8:00am-5:00pm.
