Olathe East Edges LHS

The Liberal soccer team went 0-2 on their trip to Kansas City.  Saturday morning, the Redskins lost to the defending 6A state champion Olathe East.  The Hawks topped the Skins 2-1.  Olathe East scored with 22 minutes left in the first half and again with two minutes remaining in the half.  D’Allessandro Chavira scored Liberal’s goal with 26 minutes remaining.  The Redskins had lots of good shot attempts in the second half but lost 2-1.  Olathe East is 9-4-1 and Liberal is 10-3-1.  The Redskins host Great Bend for  Senior Night Tuesday night at about 6:30 at Redskin Field.
