Xavier Lemus, age 62, died April 7, 2018 as the results of a motor vehicle accident in Meade County, KS. He was born July 30, 1955, in Mexico the son of Ramon and Rosario (Ruiz) Lemus.
He married Maria Carmen Castillo-Mier in 1976. She died on April 7, 2018, in the same accident.
He worked at National Beef Packing Company.
He was a hard worker and enjoyed auto mechanics, working on his home, growing peach trees, pumpkins, eating fruit, drinking coffee and especially watching rodeos and Television.

4 Sons Hernaldo Lemus and wife Gloria Liberal. KS
Efrain Lemus and wife Mayra Emporia, KS
Ramon Lemus and wife Beverly Emporia, KS
Javier Lemus Liberal, KS
1 Daughter Nancy Lemus and husband David Liberal, KS
11 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and 1 Son Enrique Lemus.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel, 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal, KS.
Rosary will be 7:00PM Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Liberal, KS.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Wednesday April 11th, 2018 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father James P. Dieker Officiating. Burial will follow at Liberal Cemetery.
