Wyndell D. Bryan

Wyndell D. Bryan, age 57, of Johnson, Kansas died Saturday, February 5, 2011 at his home in Johnson, Kansas. He was born July 23, 1953 in Springfield, Colorado the son of Dorman and Margaret (Moore) Bryan.

Wyndell grew up in Eastern Colorado and graduated from Pritchett High School in 1973. He moved to Johnson, Kansas in 1987 and worked for the City of Johnson for 17 years driving the trash truck. He attended Sunday school at Fields Memorial Wesleyan Church. Wyndell enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing, hunting and visitng with people.

On May 5, 2007 he married Lea Ann (Railsback) Zahnter in Johnson, Kansas; she survives. Other survivors include two sons, Cody Bryan and wife Meagan of Eudora, Kansas, Chad Bryan of Salinda, Kansas; one step-son, Darren Zahnter of Johnson, Kansas; one step-daughter, Angela Zahnter of Garden City, Kansas; two brothers, Lyndell Bryan of Springfield, Colorado, Kenny Bryan of Trinidad, Colorado; and four grandchildren, Jace and Jensyn Bryan, Hailey Zahnter and Jasmine Zahnter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Eugene Lair; sister, Sharon Coleman; and one brother, Trent Lair.

Visitation: 10: 00 AM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 09, 2011 at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson, Kansas.
Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Fields Memorial Wesleyan Church in Johnson, Kansas with Pastors Lyndell and Kenny Bryan officiating.
Graveside Service: 1:00 PM MST, Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Springfield Cemetery in Springfield, Colorado.
Interment: Springfield Cemetery in Springfield, Colorado.

The family asks that memorials be given to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association both in care of Garnand Funeral Home, PO Box 715, Johnson, KS 67855.
