Wilma L. Dorman

Wilma L. Dorman, 73, of Tyrone, Oklahoma died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

She was born February 13, 1941 at Delaware County, Oklahoma, the daughter of Luther and Dona (Tanner) Jennings.

She married John C. Dorman on October 17, 1960 at Clayton, NM. He preceded her in death on September 30, 2001.

She then married to Kenneth Robinson in July 13, 2003 at Guymon, OK. He survives.

Wilma attended Haskell Indian Nation’s High School in Lawrence, Kansas and was a graduate of West Texas A& M University in Canyon, TX. At the time of her passing she was working on obtaining her Master’s Degree. Throughout her life Wilma had worked for various places including Amoco, Montgomery Ward, Liberal Good Samaritan Center, Wheatridge Care Park and helped her husband John on the Farm & Ranch. She loved art, especially painting and drawing.

Her survivors include two sons- William F. Dorman of Forgan, OK, John Mark Dorman and wife Bonne of Norman, OK; two brothers – Lee Jennings and Luther Jennings, Jr. of Jay, OK; five sisters- Mary Jennings of Chelsea, Ok, Shirley Allamon of Montgonery, TX, Sharolyn Hahn of Ardmore, OK, Lillie Kite of Vinita, OK, Linda Sixkiller of Tulsa, OK; two grandsons- Jeffrey Dorman of OK City and James Dorman of Weatherford, OK.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers- John Blue Jennings and Bobby "Jenks" Jennings.

Visitation will be 1:00 pm-8:00 pm Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Miller Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm Friday January 9, 2015 at Miller Mortuary with Stan Lehnert officiating.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society in care of Miller Mortuary.
