Wanda Marie Carmichael, a long-time resident of Meade, Kansas, died Tuesday the 7th of May at Pioneer Manor Retirement Community in Hugoton, Kansas.
Born on July 12, 1936 in Sitka, KS, Wanda graduated from Ashland High School in 1954 and lived in Sitka, Derby, Ashland, Meade, and Wichita during her life.
Wanda worked as a waitress in her younger years, later as a bookkeeper, a daycare provider, as well as a stay at home mother.
Wanda loved knitting, crocheting, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her three sons, Brad Musgrove and wife Colleen of Hugoton, Ks, Brian Musgrove and wife Roberta of Houston, Tx, and Brice and wife Nalan, of Waukee, Ia., 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She also is survived by a sister Donna Shaw and husband Alan, and brothers Warren Ritter, John Ritter and wife Janice, and Andy Webb and wife Mona.
She is preceded in death by her late husband, Frank Carmichael, sister Dee Dickerson, and brother Bill Ritter.

A private memorial service will be held in the near future.
