Victoria Alina “Vicki” Varela, age 19, died July 14, 2014, in Seward County, KS. She was born July 30, 1994 in El Paso, TX, the daughter of Roberto and Rosa Ericka (Avila) Varela.
She graduated from San Elizario High School, El Paso, TX in 2012. She attended Seward County Community College.
She worked as a cashier and cook at the Kismet General Store in Kismet, KS.
She was a member of Sigma Chi Chi.

1 Brother Ernesto Varela, Jr. El Paso, TX
2 Sisters Claudia Varela Arlington, TX
Mariana Varela El Paso, TX
She was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Ofelia Avila, Uncle, Beto Avila and Great-Grandmother Martina Avila.
Rosary / Vigil service will be held at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Liberal, KS.
Funeral Mass and burial will be held at a later date in El Paso, TX.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Tuesday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
