Tyler Wayne “Shrek” Boland

Tyler Wayne “Shrek” Boland, 32, of Beaver, OK formerly of Liberal passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City, MO.

He was born on May 4, 1989 to Mary Boland at Liberal, KS.

Tyler was a graduate of Liberal High School; Class of 2007. While at LHS he enjoyed participating in Wrestling & Football.
Tyler worked as a Salesman for IBT in Liberal. He loved the outdoors where he would spend may days with his friends and family. He also enjoyed shooting and assembling guns. Tyler had an ornery spirit and also loved going on spontaneous adventures. He enjoyed going on trips with his “second family” to Kentucky. He was mentor & father figure for a young gentleman named Javon Allen and was proud of the young man that he’s becoming.

He was an awesome brother and son who will be greatly missed.

Tyler is survived by his Parents, Mary and Kelley Gray of Woodward, OK; Two Brothers, Matthew David Gray of Beaver, OK, Logan Akins of Hollis, OK. One Sister, Erica Gray of Woodward, OK; Grandmother, Saudra Boland of Kimberling City, MO, Grandmother, Phyllis Eaton of Liberal, KS, Grandfather, Jim Eaton, Grandparents, Derald and Kathy Gray of Perryton, TX

He was preceded in death by Brother, David Lee Boland and Grandfather, J. Boland

Viewing will be Friday October 1, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, Kansas.

A Celebration of Life date, time, and location will be announced.

Miller Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
