Tyler James Rosales, age 22, of Amarillo, Texas, died Friday, June 16, 2023, in Amarillo. He was born November 21, 2000, in Ulysses, Kansas, the son of Royce Montez Rosales and Delma Garza.
Tyler grew up in Ulysses and attended Ulysses schools. He moved to Amarillo in 2015 where he was employed by Lowe’s. He also contracted to finish floors. Tyler was always smiling and enjoyed hanging out with friends and family. He was a member of a car crew, loved camping, fishing, and basketball. His greatest joy was being a Dad to his two children.
Tyler is survived by his mother, Delma Garza of Amarillo, Texas; father, Royce Montez Rosales of Garden City, Kansas; daughter, Natali Rosales; son, Navian Rosales both of Amarillo, Texas; girlfriend, Jayla Barlett of Amarillo, Texas; eight siblings; grandmother, Dora Garza of Ulysses, Kansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tyler is preceded in death by his grandfather, Carlos Garza; grandfather, Paul Reyes Rosales, Sr.; and grandmother, Mary Helen Montez Rosales.
Funeral service will be Friday, June 23, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Emmanuel Ministierio Church in Ulysses with Pastor George Devora officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
