Trinidad “Trini” L. Ramirez, age 88, died on Friday, December 13, 2024, in Liberal, Kansas.
She was born on March 10, 1936, in San Miguel Bachiniva, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Teresa Lopez.
She married Pablo Ramirez in Campo 45, Chihuahua, Mexico. He passed away in 2002.
She was a hardworking, generous lady always willing to help others. Trini was a loving wife, excellent mother of nine children and grandmother. She was a midwife at the ranch of Ojos Azules Namiquipa Chihuahua. She was always available day or night to help bring babies into the world. She enjoyed caring for animals. Trini canned vegetables from her garden. She was a always a lady of faith and had a deep love of God. Trini loved to sing hymns of praise to God. She will long be remembered for her gift of cooking delicious meals. Trini was raised by missionaries and came to know God as her savior and became fluent in English. She was a warrior woman til the end.
She is survived by her son, Armando Ramirez of Chihuahua, Mexico,
Six daughters, Rosa Peńa of New Mexico, Ernestina Ramirez and her husband, Hector Santana of Chihuahua, Mexico, Teresa Ramirez and her husband, Ernesto Noe Lopez of Chihuahua, Mexico, Margaritha Roman and her husband, Saul of Liberal, Kansas, Carolina Rico of New Mexico,and Beatriz Ramirez and her husband, Miguel Garcia of Liberal, Kansas,
36 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her husband, Pablo Ramirez,
mother, Teresa Lopez, Sons, Guillermo Ramirez, and Pablo Ramirez, Two brothers, Reynaldo Lopez, and Marcelo Lopez, Two sisters, Octaviana Lopez, and Ruth Valenzuela.
Visitation will be 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Puerta del Cialo, 623 N. Grant, Liberal, Kansas, with Pastor Jose Del Carmen presiding.
An interment will follow at the Liberal Cemetery
