Treston Scott Cook, age 22, passed away Friday morning, September 6, 2024, at his Meade residence.
He was born August 30, 2002, at Dodge City, Kansas, the son of Scott and Shelly (Cooper) Cook. As a young boy he attended school in Meade, graduating from Meade High School in 2020. During his high school years, he was involved in several sports and clubs, including Skills USA. A lifetime resident of Meade, he worked in retail sales for the Meade Locker.
He was a member of the Emmanuel Mennonite Church of Meade and enjoyed gaming, fishing, hunting, was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his father and mother, Scott and Shelly Cook of Meade; four sisters, Tasha Cooley, Tanya Knott, Taylor Kroth and husband Weston, and Tierney Cook, all of Meade; and eight nieces and nephews, Makenzie, Laken, Tyson, Rowlin, Kinley, Woodrow, Dutton, and Steely.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at the Meade High School Gymnasium. Interment will follow in the Graceland Cemetery, Meade. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.
