Tony Alexander Washington

Tony Alexander Washington, 54, of Columbia, MO formerly of Liberal, KS passed away on Monday June 5, 2023 at his home in Columbia, MO.

He was born on January 16, 1969 to Willie and Berlinda (Ricks) Washington at Liberal, KS.

Tony graduated from high school in Las Vegas Nevada. After high school he enlisted into the US Army where he proudly served his country during Desert Storm. Tony participated in Football and Wrestling while in high school; a love that he carried over to adulthood as he enjoyed watching Kansas City Chiefs Football and professional Wrestling. He especially loved family “get togethers”!

Tony is survived by his Daughter, Kelsey Burkett of Columbus, OH; Son, Anthony Alexander Washington of Liberal, KS; Father, Willie Washington of Las Vegas, NV; Two Brothers, Ulysses Washington and wife Mary of Liberal, KS, Willie Washington, III and wife Brandi of Andover, KS; Three Sisters, Paulette Pace of Las Vegas, NV, Brenda Faye Washington of Kansas City, KS, Velma Louise Washington of Wichita, KS; two grandchildren and a host of nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers.

There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life may be announced at a later date.
