Tommy Dale Kaup, 68, died Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita, KS.
He was born on February 15, 1951 in Liberal, KS, the son of Von and Betty (Martin) Kaup.

Tommy graduated from Liberal High School in 1969, and then joined the United States Navy, where he served with distinction, including service in the Vietnam War, where he received several bronze stars. Tom earned the rank of Chief. Upon leaving the Navy, he enlisted in the Kansas Army National guard, where he retired at the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Tom enjoyed attending the Liberal Bee Jay’s baseball games with his son Kevin every summer. He also enjoyed bowling.

He was also a loving grandfather of 8 and a proud great grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Billy Kaup.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 2 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Brenneman Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Friday, May 3 at 10am at the First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Arlen Ankle presiding. Burial to follow at Restlawn Cemetery.

Memorial donations are suggested to the First Church of the Nazarene or the Liberal Bee Jay’s Baseball Team, c/o Brenneman Funeral Home.
